How is an MAU counted?
A monthly active user is any unique end user who is shown at least one Belfort paywall in a calendar month. Users who never see a paywall don't count toward your limit.
Do experiments count against my plan?
No. Every plan includes unlimited paywalls and A/B experiments. The agent — which drafts and manages experiments for you — is what unlocks on Scale and above.
What happens if I exceed my MAU limit?
Nothing breaks. We'll notify you and prorate the overage or suggest the next plan. Paywalls keep serving — we never hold your revenue hostage.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, up or down, any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle and your paywalls, experiments, and history carry over untouched.
